Description

This 1.51 carat D colour moval diamond offers a striking elongated shape with exceptional finger coverage and a clean, bright appearance.

The moval cut is a hybrid between an oval cut and marquise cut, combining soft curved edges with gently tapered points to create a unique, lengthened silhouette.

Well-proportioned with excellent spread, this diamond appears larger than its carat weight suggests. Graded D colour and VVS2 clarity, it features exceptional brightness and minimal internal inclusions. Lab-grown and IGI certified.

Available to purchase as a loose stone or to be crafted into a custom piece of jewellery in collaboration with our studio.

Using This Gemstone in a Custom Design

We offer the option to place a gemstone on hold while we work together on your custom design. A 50% deposit secures the stone for up to four weeks.

If you change your mind during this time, your deposit can be applied toward a different gemstone or credited to the final cost of your bespoke piece. Please note that all gemstone hold deposits are non-refundable.

Clarity in Natural Sapphires

Natural sapphires are formed under intense heat and pressure, and as a result, often display internal and external features known as inclusions and blemishes. These characteristics are not defects. They are vital indicators of natural origin and can help gemmologists assess the gemstone’s variety, provenance and treatment history.

Unlike diamonds, coloured gemstones are not graded using a global clarity scale. However, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) classifies sapphires as Type II gemstones, meaning they typically form with some level of inclusions. Sapphires with no inclusions at all may require further assessment to confirm natural origin.

Each sapphire is evaluated under 10x magnification and assessed in natural daylight for clarity, durability and overall visual appeal.

Clarity Scale:

Eye Clean: No inclusions visible to the naked eye, though some may be detectable under 10x magnification or on close inspection.
Very, Very Slight Inclusions: Extremely small inclusions that are typically only visible from certain side angles.
Very Slight Inclusions: Small internal features that are noticeable upon close inspection.
Slight Inclusions: Inclusions that are clearly visible without magnification.
Apparent Inclusions: Inclusions that are obvious and easily seen.

Gemstone Photography

Our gemstone photos are captured using mobile photography, sometimes with a macro lens. We do not use digital enhancement or colour alteration. What you see is how the gemstone appears in natural light.

Images are taken in a combination of direct and indirect sunlight to provide a true-to-life visual reference.

Please note that gemstone appearance can vary depending on lighting. Shifts in tone, contrast and brilliance are natural characteristics of each stone’s cut and faceting.

Returns Policy for Loose Gemstones

We offer a 7-day return period for all loose gemstones, allowing you time to inspect the stone in person. To be eligible for return:

The item must be returned by the original purchaser listed on the invoice.
It must be in original, unworn condition with no alterations.
All accompanying documentation, including gemmological reports, must be included.
Return must be made via insured express courier.

Please contact us before returning your item to receive postage instructions.
